Tomorrow is Friday and I thought I will set up your mood for some partying :)
I hope you don't mind having some music into a fashion blog! Fashion & Music are sisters after all :)
I will love to know that you enjoy my mixes! xoxo
Well, I never told you that I love music & mixing, until now. But, today since it is Valentine's Day, I though it will be great to share my GlamMix with you, so you can dance & have fun on it with this occasion...or others :) ENJOY!
I don't know about you, but I just love the Instagrams and sharing mine. They are a bit different than the blog images, they have that bit of a personal & sometimes a funny touch :) Last week we have in Toronto the bigger snow storm we had in the past years. But, the next day the sky was incredibly blue and the sun brighter than ever, looked like a winter paradise :) So, I took those picture to immortalize that moment. Finally, a culinary Insta-moment, my favorite food, the Japanese.
Enjoy your week!
I love the versatility of the Skinny Jeansin all colors & length (as you can see from this images :) and I think they are here to stay for a while. So, I looked around to see how some of the stars and personalities are wearing them. And, I found one of my favorite in a recent issue of Easy Living magazine, the TV presenter and girl-next-door Holly Willoughby, who discussed her life, loves and fashion choices. She loves to look glamorous like her mum by wearing a dress and spritzing on some perfume, but she also professes an enduring love of skinny jeans. Holly,it seems, likes to team her skinny jeans with oversize jumpers to balanceout her look. This is great advice for curvier girls, and nails the current trend for wearing all things oversize on the top half of your body. Some people still hold to the myth that skinnies and drainpipes are only suitable for very slim frames, but in fact, as Holly shows, they’re perfect for flattering curves too. They really celebrate your body shape as they work with your curves rather than against them, and high-waisted styles look gloriously retro and are ideal for hourglass figures.
Forshorter ladies who are afraid of looking a little dumpy, always go for flats with a pointed toe, as these add extra elegance and make the foot look more streamlined. Ballet pumps can look a little blobby at the bottom of smaller frames. For the kind of laid-back look Kristen Stewart'sfavourits, team your skinnies with Converse All Stars or classic high-toptrainers. You can still dress up your top half if you like, as the clash between glamour and trainers equals instant rebel cool.Forchilly days, take Holly’s cue and layer up on oversized sweaters and cardigans. Not only will they protect you from the elements, they’ll also balance you out beautifully. For the evening, you could even team your skinnies with an oversized blazer for an urbane, androgynous look.
If you were afraid to wear them so far, and don't have one yet, I hope that this article helped in changing your mind. So, go out, get one and have fun in them! :)
I love the B&W combination! In my opinion, it looks elegant, glamorous & chic. I like that I can wear it very well for a brunch, a business outfit, or to any place where a more formal look is required, still keep my look modern & chic with more trendy accessories. Hope you like it too :)
I don't know about you, but to me the monotony of the winter color palette start to being somehow sad & really boring. So, to bring a bit of color into it, I had the mood to spice up my outfit with these colorful pants. I found that the easiest & chicest way to do that, is to add one very colorful piece of garment to your look, not too many though, unless look like a clown :)
I am so impatient for the warm weather to arrive! I like the trend of the B&W for the spring, spiced up with a bit of grey, it gives to the outfit a modern & chic feel. So, I was playing around with some outfits & shoes combinations, and this is what I've got... I hope you like it :)
